Ah Haa School for the Arts
Ah Haa School for the Arts presents FORM + CONTENT exploring the confluence of creative genres in bookbinding, following how the artistry of Book Arts in the late 1980s – 1990s expanded beyond content into imaginative book forms. From Fine Press books to early artist books by John Baldessari and Edward Ruscha to the conceptual creations of Claire Van Vliet, the exhibition showcases how artist books began to challenge and disrupt the reader’s experience through the use of unusual typography, textures, and shapes. The exhibition follows the creative progression from Fine Press books that utilize fine materials and production techniques to elevate the reader’s encounter with the text, to Artist Books that break with the codex (the traditional form of a book) to create books that function as sculptures and kinetic objects. The books showcased in FORM + CONTENT engage multiple senses, provoking a new experience of what it means to read a book.

Citizens State Bank
Citizens State Bank is pleased to be featuring artist Lucy Peveto for the winter 2024-25 ArtWalk: "a series of paintings based on beloved Aspen trees and flowers using many built up layers and 3D textures. The process starts with stacking colors of paper and print that decide when they want to peak through creating light and shadow...The eyes of the Aspen tree become deep pools of emotion, the leaves quiver in the breeze, and the flowers peek open to stretch towards the light. To savor this moment is to know you are not alone. This series encourages you to see what’s in front of you today because it might see you too." Lucy Peveto
